A statue for William Barclay 'Bat' Masterson

There is currently no known statue of the famed lawman, neither in his birthplace in Quebec, his long-time workplace of Dodge City, nor his final resting place of New York City.

Bat deserves better than that.

To contribute to a life-size commemorative statue of the man (which will be crafted by a famous sculptor of Old West art), to be placed at either the point of his demise in New York City or the site of his fame in Dodge City (to be determined), you may either:

send a check in any amount, made payable to 'Proofmark' and noted for the 'Masterson Fund', to
Proofmark, Post Office Box 200334, Austin, Texas 78720

or

select any quantity [one item equaling one dollar] of the 'Bat Masterson Statue Fund' item on our Order page,
which will charge your credit card for that amount.
(e.g., ordering 23 of the Bat Masterson Statue Fund will debit your card in the amount of US$23.00)

Either way, your contribution will be placed in an escrow account until the statue is ready to be constructed. Your name will be inscribed on the base of the statue (unless you notify us that you would rather your donation be made anonymously) to signify your contribution to preserving the memory of Bat Masterson and his role in American history.
